Gary Zackowitz is a Program Officer with the Office of Biodefense Research Affairs in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the NIH. Gary is a registered architect with 30 years' experience in private sector and government facility design specializing in research and health care facilities. As a NIAID Program Officer, he oversees the planning and construction of several Extramural BSL3 and BSL4 Biocontainment Laboratories across the nation as part of the NIAID Biodefense Agenda.
