Fawn Phelps is in her 14th year as an Instructor and the Director of Leadership Development at the ɫɫÑо¿Ëù T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She oversees the leadership development programing for the ɫɫÑо¿Ëù Chan mid-career DrPH program. Phelps also directs a year-long, co-curricular leadership development training program open to any ɫɫÑо¿Ëù Chan student. Prior to ɫɫÑо¿Ëù Chan, Phelps had a 15-year career in federal and state legislative and policy advocacy roles focused on the well-being of low-income and marginalized populations. Eric Poon is the IS Director of Clinical Informatics at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA and Assistant Professor of Medicine at ɫɫÑо¿Ëù Medical School. He is also a practicing internist at the Brigham Internal Medicine Associates at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. In his capacity as the IS Director of Clinical Informatics, Dr. Poon oversees the development and implementation of clinical systems applications used by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists and all inpatient settings at BWH, including the emergency room and the peri-operative areas. John M. Price, PhD, CIH, CSP is an Instructor at the ɫɫÑо¿Ëù T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Northeastern University Department of Chemical Engineering. He was previously the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Northeastern University where he supervised staff in assessing worker exposure, conducted training in occupational health and safety, and designed engineering controls for the workplace. He also provided oversight for compliance with environmental regulations.
Andrew Principe is a veteran clinical application specialist with ten years of experience working with Electronic Medical Records, e-Prescribing, Practice Management, and Laboratory Information Systems. Andrew spent 5 years as Associate Director of Clinical Applications at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA. Under Andrew's leadership, Joslin achieved a successful EMR implementation that supports the organization's clinical, financial, and research goals. For the past 4 years, Andrew has worked as a consultant with Arcadia Solutions where he has helped various healthcare provider organizations adopt and utilize EMR and other clinical applications.
Ms. Puhy joined her first public board – Reebok – in 2001. Over the course of the next 20 years, she served on 2 additional public boards, Eaton Vance (an investment management firm) and Abiomed (a medical device company). Her board service for each of these public companies ended when each was acquired in very favorable transactions.She served on the board of two major companies that are structured as non-profits – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the Controlled Risk Insurance Company (CRICO) which is the captive professional liability insurance company of the ɫɫÑо¿Ëù related hospitals and physician groups.…
